On October 4, 2013 at 12:28 A.M. Bismarck Police Officers responded to the intersection of East Main Avenue and 9th Street for a report of a hit and run crash involving a bicyclist and a Pickup. When officers arrived they found a 17 year old male who had been struck by a vehicle while riding his bike across Main Avenue. The bicyclist was southbound on Ninth Street while the pickup was Eastbound on Main. The pickup was described as a newer black or very dark colored Ford and may have a chrome grill guard. There is no description of the driver. The pickup may have damage to the center front as well as the undercarriage. The victim did sustain non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
