Starting on Friday, October 18, 2013, Fifth Street will be closed to through traffic between Front Avenue and Bowen Avenue due to the addition being added to the Civic Center. This closure will last for approximately two weeks.

Access will be provided to local businesses.

A detour will be in place.

Southbound traffic on Fifth Street will be detoured west on Front Avenue to Third Street, south on Third Street to Bowen Avenue, and then east on Bowen Avenue back to Fifth Street.

Northbound traffic on Fifth Street will be detoured west on Bowen Avenue to Third Street, north on Third Street to Front Avenue, and then east on Front Avenue back to Fifth Street.
