Notice is hereby given that the Burleigh County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 5:15 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Office Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota on the following issue:
• Request of Burleigh County for approval of zoning ordinance text amendments relating to Article 3 (Definitions), Article 4 (Zoning Districts and Boundaries), Article 7 (Use Groups), Article 8 (Special Uses), Article 14.1 (R4-Multi-Family Residential District Regulations), Article 16 (CL-Limited Commercial District Regulations), Article 17 (CM-Major Commercial District Regulations), Article 18 (I-Industrial District Regulations), Article 19 (M-Manufacturing District Regulations), Article 23 (Building Construction Requirements), Article 23.1 (Mechanical Construction Requirements), Article 24 (Sanitation Requirements), Article 25 (Schedule of Fees), Article 29 (Amendments), Article 33 (Subdivision Regulations). The proposed amendments would clarify and modify various sections, modify permit and application fees, eliminate the R4- Multi-Family Residential District, combine the CM-Major Commercial and CL-Limited Commercial Districts into a C-Commercial District, and combine the M-Manufacturing and I-Industrial District into an I-Industrial District.
At the hearing, the Burleigh County Planning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to this item.
