[ARCHIVED] Planning & Zoning Commission to hold public hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Lance Hagen for approval of a zoning change from the A- Agricultural zoning district to the MA-Industrial zoning district for Hamburg Industrial Park Second Addition. The property is located in east Bismarck, east of the Bismarck Airport along the east side of Yegen Road, north of the intersection with Lincoln Road (part of the SW1/4 of Section 13, T138N-R80W/Lincoln Township).

• Request of Lance Hagen for approval of a final plat for Hamburg Industrial Park Second Addition, a six lot subdivision on 13.2 acres. The property is located in east Bismarck, east of the Bismarck Airport along the east side of Yegen Road, north of the intersection with Lincoln Road (part of the SW1/4 of Section 13, T138N-R80W/Lincoln Township).

• Request of MK Home Builders, Inc. for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Kamrose Addition First Replat, an 11 lot subdivision on 1.97 acres. The property is located in south Bismarck, along the east side of South Washington Street between Santa Fe Avenue and Burleigh Avenue (a replat of Lot 1, Block 1, Kamrose Addition).

• Request of Michael Baumgartner, Ron Knutson and Attas Boutrous for approval of a zoning change from the PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district to the RM15-Residential zoning district on Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Hamilton’s First Addition. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, along the south side of Calgary Avenue and the east side of Hamilton Street.

• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning ordinance text amendment relating to landscaping and screening requirements. The proposed ordinance would clarify the requirements of the landscaping and screening ordinance relating to installation, maintenance, replacement, inspection and enforcement.

• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning ordinance text amendment relating to the downtown districts. The proposed ordinance would require a special use permit prior to the demolition of any building structure in the Downtown Core and Downtown Fringe zoning districts.

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.
