[ARCHIVED] 8-25-10 Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission Public Hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Arrow Head Development, LLC for a minor subdivision final plat for Pebble Creek Tenth Addition, an eight lot subdivision on 7.64 acres. The property is located along the east side of Nebraska Drive north of Century Avenue East and is a replat of Lot B of Lot 1 and Lots 2-6, Block 3, Pebble Creek Eighth Addition.

• Request of HD Partners for a minor subdivision final plat for Home Depot Addition, a five lot subdivision on 10.84 acres. The property is located on the east side of 14th Street North between Harvest Lane and Calgary Avenue East and is a replat of Lot 1, Block 1, Schweitzer Addition.

• Request of Whispering Bay Corporation for a minor subdivision final plat for Whispering Pointe, a ten lot subdivision on 4.98 acres. The property is located along the west side of Langer Lane between Mills Avenue and Larson Road and is a replat of Lot 2, Block 1, Whispering Bay.

• Request of Jomani Developing, Inc. for a minor subdivision final plat for Sonnet Heights Subdivision Fourth Replat, a seven lot subdivision on 3.23 acres. The property is located on the north side of Canada Avenue and LaSalle Drive at the intersection of those two roadways and is a replat of Lots 4 and 5, Block 1, Sonnet Heights Subdivision First Replat.

• Request of Jomani Developing, Inc. for approval of a zoning change from RM30-Residential zoning district to R10-Residential zoning district for Lots 1-6, Block 1, Sonnet Heights Subdivision Fourth Replat. The property is located along the north side of Canada Avenue and Lasalle Drive at the intersection of those two roadways.

• Request of YMCA and House of Prayer Church for a special use permit for a daycare center on Lot 1, Block 1, House of Prayer Addition. The property is located 1470 South Washington Street.

At these hearings, the City Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items. Interested persons may also submit written comments regarding these requests prior to the meeting to the Community Development Department - Planning Division, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota 58506-5503, fax: 701- 222-6450, or e-mail - cobplan@nd.gov. Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City-County Community Development Department – Planning Division, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
