[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Sets Boarding Record in July 2010

Greg Haug, Airport Manager attributes these record boardings to multiple reasons. The main reason is the state of the local economy. Haug said "Recent growth in the energy industry, coupled with a strong agricultural market, has caused a higher demand for air service. We're excited about this new record and plan to make accommodations to ensure our facilities are providing the best possible experience for our customers." Due to the increase in boardings, Bismarck Airport will continue to upgrade its facilities by expanding the current parking lot and installing a fourth pasenger boarding bridge to ensure convenience to their customers continues in the future.

Bismarck Airport has been working extensively to raise awareness of the services offered by the Airport. An airport marketing campaign, including advertising, destination promotions, as well as sponsorship of local activities is in full swing.

The Bismarck Airport offers non-stop service to six destinations nationwide: Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Phoenix/Mesa, and Las Vegas. These destinations also offer connectivity to domestic and international travel.
