Effective immediately, Broadway Avenue will be closed to all traffic at the intersection of 23rd Street. A detour will be in place.

Eastbound traffic on Broadway Avenue will be detoured north on 22nd Street to Thayer Avenue, east on Thayer Avenue to 24th Street, and south on 24th Street back to Broadway Avenue.

Westbound traffic on Broadway Avenue will be detoured north on 24th Street to Thayer Avenue, east on Thayer Avenue to 22nd Street and south on 22nd Street back to Broadway Avenue.

This detour is expected to be in effect until late Tuesday, December 9, 2014.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes when possible.
