[ARCHIVED] Bismarck’s Fall Clean-Up Week: September 21-25

Bismarck’s fall clean-up week is September 25-30. Residents shall place items out for collection by 8:00 a.m. on their regular scheduled garbage day.

Residential Homes and Apartment Buildings
Place items for special pick-up on the boulevard.

Residential Alley PickupPlace items for special pick-up in the alley or on the boulevard.

Collection Information• A separate truck will pick up the special items set out for collection• All loose materials must be boxed or bagged.
• It is illegal to remove any refuse set out for collection.• Landfill charges will apply when disposing of items at the landfill.

Place items for special pick-up at their point of collection.
City crews will pick up items not ordinarily collected on the route such as:
Appliances * Building Material * Carpet * Dirt * Electronics * Furniture Items * Rocks * Sod * Tires

Apartment Complexes
Place items for special pick-up on the boulevard for collection.
City crews will pick up: * Electronics * Furniture Items * Tires
City Crews will not pick up: * Electronics * Furniture Items * Tires * Other.

Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Recycling Center
The following items will not be collected on the route. * Hazardous waste * Liquids * Paint
Take items to HHW & Electronic Recycling Center located at the landfill during regular business hours. There is no charge for Bismarck residents to dispose of these items when delivering them to the Center.

HHW & Electronic Center Hours of Operation
9am – 2pm Tuesday & Thursday of each week
9am – 2pm 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month
Closed Sundays & Holidays

Landfill Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday: 8am – 6pm
Saturday: 8am – 4pm
Closed Sundays & Holidays
