The City of Bismarck is seeking public input for an Infill and Redevelopment Plan. The purpose of this Plan is to facilitate high-quality infill and redevelopment in the City of Bismarck that would enhance quality of life, economic vitality, and fiscal responsibility.
• Date: Thursday, November 3, 2016
• Time: 5:30 – 7:00 pm
• Place: Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library. Room C, 515 N 5th Street, Bismarck, ND
The meeting will be held in an open house format with a short presentation at the beginning, followed by interactive time to engage in conversation, address questions and receive comments. The public is encouraged to attend and provide feedback to help guide revisions and improvements to the draft plan before it is formally presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission at a public hearing later in November.
In 2014, the City Commission approved a Growth Management Plan to guide the outward growth and development of the City. This Infill and Redevelopment Plan will complement the earlier planning initiative by setting principles and strategies to guide growth and development within the existing footprint of the city.
An overview of the draft Plan will be presented at the meeting, and will also available for review on the City’s website Oct. 31.
