City Public Works is working around the clock to keep the city open.  Emergency routes and major arterials are the priority so that emergency vehicles can respond. Residential streets are being cleared but due to the high volume of snow and blowing and drifting conditions, it has been difficult to plow as swiftly as when we have a normal 3 to 4 inch snowfall.  

We will continue to work 24/7 until the city is plowed open.  We understand your frustration, but this is a major snow event that will take time to clean up.  Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
