City of Bismarck snow removal crews worked through the night to make a pass through residential streets. There are still some residential streets that they haven’t been able to make a pass through. The city has been out inspecting the streets with an assessment team and will focus on the streets that haven’t been touched today and tonight to make a single pass through.
When snow removal crews make the pass to clear the residential streets, equipment will follow to open up driveways. It may not be the full width of the driveway but they will create an opening.
Snow removal crews are working as fast as they can to get through the residential neighborhoods but it is still slow-going and taking longer than expected. We want to thank residents for their continued patience throughout the winter storm and the clean-up that follows. Please know that we understand the frustration with the time that it is taking to get streets opened up.
