A Bismarck snow removal map updated at 11:00 a.m. today is posted and available on the City website. Areas shown in red are areas that have been plowed. Areas shown in green are areas snow removal crews are working to clear. The arrows shown on the map indicate where snow removal crews will plow next. An updated snow removal progress map will be posted late this afternoon.
Currently, sixty-three percent of City streets have been completed. Snow removal crews are continuing to open residential streets that haven’t been reached. Once, snow removal crews make the pass to clear the residential streets, equipment will follow to open up driveways. It may not be the full width of the driveway, but an opening will be created.
Snow removal crews are making progress and working persistently to get through the residential neighborhoods. We thank residents for their continued patience throughout the snow event and ongoing snow removal efforts and clean-up that will follow.
Residential areas are expected to be completed Saturday. Beginning early next week, city snow removal crews will start widening streets, hauling and casting snow.
