City of Bismarck snow removal operations began at 4 a.m. today widening streets from last week's storm and worked to plow and sand snow emergency routes. Snow removal crews will continue to plow emergency routes to keep them open. Crews are currently working to plow school emergency routes, major arterial streets and will soon begin residential routes. The current snowfall is lighter than the last and will help to advance snow plow operations.
Due to the recent snowfall, downtown snow removal will be delayed. Snow plow crews will work to clear residential areas and then move into the downtown area. A future update will be provided with the downtown snow removal schedule.
