[ARCHIVED] Public Input Meeting Notice - Proposed Residential Solid Waste Collection Service Upgrade Options

The City of Bismarck Public Works Service Operations Department will hold public input meetings on Thursday, February 16, 2017 and Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., at the Bismarck Public Works Building, 601 South 26th Street to discuss proposed upgrades to the residential solid waste collection service.  Topics for discussion include, but are not limited to:  

•Four-day week for curbside collection service

•Rebalancing routes to accommodate the 4-day week curbside collection service

•Volume-based fee structure for garbage collection

•Seasonal residential curbside grass collection instead of grass dump sites

•Call-ahead bulk waste curbside collection service

•Quarterly voucher system for residents to dispose of garbage at landfill for free

The meetings will begin with a brief presentation of the proposed changes, followed by an opportunity for all interested parties to comment.   If you are unable to attend the meetings, we welcome you to comment by using the Public Input Form link located below.
