[ARCHIVED] Police Seek Public’s Assistance In Hit and Run Investigation

The Bismarck Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Third Street and Main Avenue in Bismarck.

On March 17, 2017 (St. Patrick’s Day) at approximately 10:50 p.m. the suspect vehicle was traveling north on Third Street. When it reached Main Avenue the driver made a left turn striking a pedestrian who was walking across Main Avenue. The suspect vehicle then continued on making no attempt to stop. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The only description of the suspect vehicle is possibly a Ford SUV and is either tan, silver, or gold in color.
