[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Public Works begins street tree material pick-up

Bismarck Public Works has begun pick-up of street tree branches and materials and downed trees from city streets and boulevards from Friday morning’s storm.

Residents are asked to cut fallen tree branches that have fallen on their property in 4-foot lengths, tie them in bundles and place them on the boulevard. These items will be picked on their regular garbage pick-up day.

We ask residents not to place tree materials in the street. Large volumes of branches or whole trees should be hauled to the landfill. Keep tree debris separated from other debris. Don’t mix loads. If you mix garbage with tree debris, you’ll pay a higher disposal fee. Disposal fees will be charged to all customers.

Landfill hours are 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 pm Monday – Friday and 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Saturday.

We ask for your patience during the cleanup process.
