[ARCHIVED] Annual deer and turkey archery program approved by Bismarck City Commission

Applications will be available Wednesday, July 18 beginning at 6:00 a.m. until they are filled. The applications will be available at the Impound building on the east side of the Bismarck Animal Impound Facility, 2011 N 52nd Street, Bismarck. Applicants are asked to refrain from blocking the gates and driveways to the impound lot/building and we ask you to park either in the area south of the driveway or along the fence line.


There are 25 permits available that will be issued on a first come, first serve basis. You must be present to receive an application.

  • Provide a valid photo ID (student ID)
  • City of Bismarck Proficiency Card
  • General hunting license
  • Archery stamp
  • Cash only fee of $5

All applications require the ND general hunting license and the Archery Stamp Number, which is obtained through The ND Game and Fish Department.
