[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission to hold public hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Wachter Capital, LLC for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Rutland Addition, a four-lot subdivision on 1.31 acres.  The property is located in south Bismarck, north of Burleigh Avenue, west of South Washington Street along the north side of Rutland Drive (a replat of Lots 5A, 5B and 5C of Lot 5, Block 4, Tatley Meadows V).

• Request of The Diocese of Bismarck for approval of a zoning change from the R5-Residential zoning district to the PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district for the West 75 feet of Lots 8-12, Block 28, McKenzie’s Addition.  The property is located in west-central Bismarck, west of North Washington Street in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Raymond Street and West Avenue A.

• Request of Drazen Samardzic for approval of a zoning change from the RM10-Residential and RM20-Residential zoning districts to the Conditional RT-Residential zoning district for Lot 2A of Lot 2, Block 1, North Hills 5th Addition; and Lots A-2, A-3 and A-4 and Lot C of Part of Lots 7 and 8, Block 1, North Hills 6th Addition.  The property is located in north-central Bismarck, north of East Century Avenue between Manitoba Lane and North 4th Street.

• Request of Schilling Properties, LLC for approval of a major PUD amendment for Lot 1, Block 1, Schilling First Subdivision to allow signage in conformance with the CG-Commercial zoning district, including an electronic message center.  The property is located in north Bismarck, along the east side of US Highway 83/State Street and the north side of 43rd Avenue NE.

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.  Interested persons may also submit written comments regarding these requests prior to the meeting to the Community Development Department, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota 58506-5503, fax: 701-222-6450, or E-mail.  Interested persons may also call 701-355-1840 with questions or for additional information. 

Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Bismarck Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
