Thanks to those who have attended our presentations and requests for feedback about water, sewer, and stormwater rates. The public is invited to take part in a utility rate community stakeholder discussion on Wednesday September 5, from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at Bismarck Public Works, 601 South 26th Street, Bismarck. We’d like to receive additional input from citizens about water, sewer, and stormwater rates. The discussion will include information on:
1. Customer usage patterns
2. Recommended customer classes
3. Initial utility cost of service allocations to each customer class
Additionally, we will be reaching out to citizens in the next several months about: rate structure, other
fees/charges and finally, bringing it together in November. The last three stakeholder meetings took place on May 24, June 11, and the August 1 revenue
requirements. On June 26, there was a Phase I Results presentation to the City Commission.
