The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization announces the update of the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, called Arrive 2045. Arrive 2045 will establish a long-range vision and strategies to shape the region's transportation systems. Arrive 2045 will establish the needs and priorities for future transportation investments covering multiple modes of travel - including streets and highways, transit, bicycle, pedestrian, and freight to set priorities for the future. Arrive 2045 guides decision making and prioritizes future funding to fulfill the transportation needs of the area.
Public Input received throughout this study process will directly impact how multimodal projects are prioritized. The result of Arrive 2045 may change the physical environment, policies, and future planning for the entire transportation network. The first round of public meetings will be held in early October.
Information about the meetings will be advertised in the Bismarck Tribune and the Mandan News and will be available on the Project Website and on the MPO's Face Book page. Sign up through the Project Website to receive direct notification regarding input opportunities.
