Starting at 8:00 am Friday, September 21, 2018, Vermont Avenue west of 26th Street will be closed to through east/west traffic near the intersection of 26th Street. The closure will be starting at the west approach of 26th Street to 300’ west of 26th Street for a sewer connection for the new development in the SW quadrant of this intersection.

Traffic wanting to access Vermont Avenue from 26th Street will need to detour to expressway and then travel west to Airport Road and then north to Vermont Avenue.

A detour will be in place.

The closure will be in place until Friday evening, weather permitting.

Congestion can be expected during peak hour traffic.
