[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Celebrates Completion of New Fire Station 4 with Ribbon Cutting

New Fire Station 4 Ribbon Cutting

The City of Bismarck celebrated the completion of new Fire Station 4, today at a ribbon cutting event. The new fire station located at 4103 Miriam Ave. is staffed with a fire captain and firefighters. The fire station site is five acres in size and the station is co-located with a live burn training building.  The approximate cost of the building was $3.2 million dollars.  EAPC Architects Engineers, provided the architectural and engineering services for the training center. Construction was provided by Northwest Contracting, Central Mechanical and Western Edge Electric.

The fire station is approximately 11,000 square feet and contains a training room to accommodate classroom education. The placement of the fire station on Miriam Avenue improves the overall response time to emergencies in a growing area of the community.

The Bismarck Fire Department will host an open house at the new Fire Station 4, from 10 am to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6. The event provides an opportunity for the public to see the inner workings of the fire service. The open house is a free, family friendly event.  All ages are encouraged to visit the fire house and take part in the activities that are planned.
