[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: Bismarck Public Works asks residents to put bagged garbage out for pick up

Bismarck Public Works wants to clarify that residents still need to put their garbage container out to the curb. Garbage that won’t fit inside the container needs to be bagged and set beside the container.

Please make sure all garbage is bagged, inside and outside the container.  If it is outside the garbage container and not bagged, it will not be picked up.

Bismarck Public Works asks residents to put out only bagged garbage when placing their garbage out for collection. We ask residents for their cooperation and ask them not to put furniture, mattresses, cardboard, or any items other than bagged garbage out for pick up. Garbage must be bagged or it will not be picked up. Residents can take other items to the Bismarck landfill.

Landfill hours of operation are Monday – Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
