[ARCHIVED] BBPH Changing COVID-19 Testing Location Due to Threat of Inclement Weather

Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health (BBPH) will be moving their COVID-19 testing event to the Bismarck Event Center tomorrow, June 30, due to the threat of inclement weather. The testing event is still scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“We really don’t want to take any chances when it comes to weather,” said BBPH Director Renae Moch. “There is a possibility of rain and lightning throughout the morning, so we are being proactive in moving the location into a covered area. We used the Event Center for a testing event in the beginning of May and that went really well, so we know we are in good hands if we host an event there.”

Individuals wanting to be tested at this event are asked to enter Bismarck Event Center Lot D, located next to Seventh Street. Testing will be conducted inside the Bismarck Event Center and individuals will exit the building Parking Lot B, and then travel away from the event by way of Fifth Street.

For ongoing response efforts to the COVID-19 pandemic, the North Dakota Department of Health has provided a COVID-19 Hotline to help answer questions. You may call 1-866-207-2880, Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Individuals needing medical advice should contact their healthcare provider.
