Bismarck Mayor Steve Bakken is looking for a candidate interested in serving on the Bismarck Parking Authority. The volunteer committee has one open position. The position is for an unexpired term through April 2023.
Interested applicants should complete an application form describing their qualifications, background and why they would like to serve on the Authority. Complete applications should be sent to:

The deadline for applications is Monday, December 7, 2020. It is anticipated that the new board member will be announced at the December 22, 2020, Board of City Commissioners’ meeting.
The Bismarck Parking Authority is a 5-member advisory board appointed by the Bismarck City Commission to provide convenient reasonably priced parking to the residents, clients, customers, merchants, and employees of the Downtown Parking District. The Bismarck Parking Authority currently manages four ramps and two surface lots.
The Bismarck Parking Authority meets the second Thursday of every month at 9:00 a.m. in the David J. Blackstead Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 N 5th Street, Bismarck.
