[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission to hold public hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

    Request of 161 Commercial, LLC for approval of a major subdivision final plat for First Responders Second Addition, a 1-lot subdivision on 1.98 acres. The property is located east of Bismarck, east of North Bismarck Expressway and south of East Main Avenue / County Highway 10 in the southwest quadrant of the intersection of Midwest Drive and 52nd Street SE (Part of Lots 7A and 7B of Auditor’s Lot 7 and the W 1/2 of 52nd Street right-of-way in the SE 1/4 of Section 1, T138N-R80W/Lincoln Township).

    Request of Bradley King for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Southbay Fourth Addition Third Replat, a 2-lot subdivision on 3.58 acres. The property is located south of Bismarck, west of South Washington Street and east of England Street, along the south side of West Burleigh Avenue (a replat of the West 256 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, Southbay Fourth Addition).

    Request of JE Homes, LLC, 1806 Development Group, LLC and Burnt Creek Group, LLC for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for The Ridge at Hawktree Second Replat, a 21-lot subdivision on 4.87 acres. The property is located north of Bismarck, north of Highway 1804 NW and south of the Hawktree Golf Club, along the east side of Hawktree Drive and the south side of Ridge Way (a replat of Tracts 8027, 8027A, 8029 and 8029A of Lot 1, Block 1; Tracts 3631, 3631A, 3633 and 3633A of Lot 3, Block 1; Tracts 3701, 3701A, 3703, 3703A, 3707, 3707A, 3709 and 3709A of Lot 4, Block 1; Tracts 8139, 8139A, 8141 and 8141A of Lot 5, Block 1; and Lot 6, Block 1, Replat of Lots 18-25, Block 1, The Ridge at Hawktree).

    Request of Jerry Kessel for approval of a zoning change from the Conditional RT-Residential zoning district to the Conditional CA-Commercial zoning district for the East 250 feet of Lot 2, Block 3, KMK Estates. The property is located in northwest Bismarck, on the west side of North Washington Street between Century Avenue and 43rd Avenue NE/Ash Coulee Drive. 

    Request of Stan Olheiser for approval of a special use permit to construct a accessory building, up to 3,024 square feet in size, on Lot 5, Block 2, High Country Estates. The property is located south of Bismarck, south of East Burleigh Avenue and west of 12th Street SE, along the west side of High Plains Road (3724 High Plains Road).

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to be heard with respect to these items. Due to ongoing public health concerns related to COVID-19, the City of Bismarck is encouraging citizens to provide their comments for these items in writing or via email. Interested parties may submit written or email comments regarding these requests at least one business day prior to the meeting to the Community Development Department, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota 58506-5503, fax: 701-222-6450, or email . Interested persons may also call 701-355-1840 with questions, for additional information, or to facilitate alternate means to appear at the public hearing without having to appear in person.  

Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Bismarck Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
