[ARCHIVED] Public Hearing on 2022-2025 TIP Amendments

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 10am regarding proposed amendments to the Bismarck-Mandan 2022-2025 TIP. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled meeting of the Bismarck-Mandan MPO Technical Advisory Committee in the Tom Baker Meeting Room of the City/County Office Building at 221 N. 5th Street, Bismarck, ND.


The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of proposed amendments to the 2022-2025 TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four-year time frame. The proposed amendments are intended to reconcile the programmed projects contained in the Bismarck-Mandan MPO 2022-2025 TIP with those included in the State Transportation Improvement Program.  Following the consideration period of citizen’s comments, the proposed amendments will be presented to the MPO Policy Board for possible adoption as part of the 2022-2025 TIP, contingent upon no substantive change required due to public comments. 


The public is invited to attend the public hearing, or submit written comments directed to Stephen Larson of the MPO no later than 9am Tuesday, January 18, 2022 to P.O. Box 5503, Bismarck, ND, 58506. Written comments may also be e-mailed to slarson@bismarcknd.gov or faxed to (701) 222-6450.  Comments which are e-mailed or faxed should be specifically identified as public input on the proposed changes to the 2022-2025 TIP.
