[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Historical Society Presents | Two Doctors in the House: Eric and Fanny Dunn Quain March 9

The Bismarck Historical Society presents Ann Vadnie, retired teacher and member of the Board of Directors of the Bismarck Historical Society, who loves to research and teach about the rich history of Bismarck.

Vadnie will present a PowerPoint program about two doctors in early Bismarck. Fannie Dunn was the first North Dakota born woman to earn a doctor of medicine degree.  After returning to her hometown of Bismarck, she met and married local doctor, Eric Quain.

This husband and wife both played crucial roles in the world of medicine in early Bismarck. How they served our community, our state, and our nation is a story well worth hearing. The program is open to the public.

The program will take place Wednesday, March 9, 2022, 6:30 PM, at the Bismarck Public Library, Meeting Room A.
