[ARCHIVED] City of Bismarck Garbage & Recycling Collection Cancelled (April 12-14) due to Winter Storm

Update 11:10am on 4/12/2022:

Garbage and Recycling collection have been cancelled for today and the remainder of the week (Apr 12-14). Garbage and Recycling will not be collected until the regular scheduled pickup next week.

City of Bismarck garbage collection trucks were pulled off the streets at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 12th. Road conditions have deteriorated to the point of it being difficult to drive and unsafe for our employees to be on the street. The garbage and recycling collection is cancelled for the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday routes (April 12-14) due to the winter storm and blizzard conditions. Garbage and Recycling will not be collected until the regular scheduled pickup next week. The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronic Recycling Center will be closed on Thursday, April 14.

Landfill Hours

Monday through Saturday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Closed: Friday, April 15th due to the Holiday

Closed: Sundays & Designated Holidays

HHW and Electronic Recycling Center Hours of Operation

Closed: Thursday, April 14th.

9am – 2pm on Tuesday & Thursday of each week

9am – 2pm on 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month
