[ARCHIVED] 7th Street & Avenue C Signal Shutdown – Work Zone 7th Street & Avenue C Signal Shutdown – Work Zone

Starting 7:00 AMMonday, August 1, 2022, the traffic signal at 7th Street and Avenue C will be taken out of service and removed to install the new traffic signal system. An ALL-WAY Stop will be put into place at the intersection for all traffic. The two outside southbound parking lanes on 7th Street from 300ft north of Avenue C through Avenue C will be closed to traffic. Traffic lanes on Avenue C will also be reduced at this time The middle two remaining lanes on 7th Street will remain open.

 

The signal shutdown and lane closures will be in place for approximately three weeks, weather permitting. 

 

Traffic can expect higher than normal congestion during peak traffic hours and are advised to seek alternate routes.
