A sandbag filling site is opening at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 14, near the City’s Public Works facility for anyone who needs sandbags.
The City of Bismarck Public Works facility is located at 601 South 26th Street in Bismarck. The sandbag filling site will be located inside the large sand tent on the east side of the building.
Sand and sandbags will be provided at the site. Individuals needing sandbags will need to provide shovels, gloves, any other needed tools, and a vehicle to transport the sandbags.
This sandbag filling site is expected to be open 24 hours a day until the need has subsided.
