Wednesday, August 14, 2024, as of 1:00 p.m., below are the major streets that are still closed due to flooding. These roads will be reopened when conditions allow.
- 7th Street underpass between Main Avenue and Front Avenue.
- Bismarck Expressway between 9th Street and just east of 12th Street. Water is receding at this location.
- Airport Road on the north side of University Dr / ND 1804. Water is receding at this location.
Due to rapidly changing conditions, ROAD CLOSED barricades are not able to be installed at every location. If a barricade is installed or if a city vehicle is blocking the road with its lights on, then the road is closed. It is illegal to drive around barricades or city vehicles when streets are closed.
