South Washington Street will open to thru traffic this afternoon.
The street has been closed at Wachter Avenue, Billings Drive, and Munich Drive since May 25, when pumps were placed across the street. Those pumps were used to pump water from the Wachter drainage ditch.
This portion could close again, based on rain. If the drainage ditch needs to be pumped again, the street could be closed again.
The walking path from Washington street west to Riverwood Golf Course remains closed.
