The Bismarck Historical Society will be hosting a historical program on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. The presentation begins at 6:30 PM.
The topic of this presentation is “History of the Belle Mehus Auditorium”. Presenters Susan Lundberg and Stephanie Delmore will share the rich history of Bismarck’s original Civic Auditorium, the legacy of Belle Mehus and the arts in Bismarck. Mehus was a piano teacher from Bismarck, who became the namesake of the auditorium which held its first performance in 1914 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A tour of the facility will follow the presentation, led by Bismarck Event Center staff.
