Bismarck City offices and the landfill will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday and there will be no garbage collection or curbside recycling (gold route) collection. Garbage and Recycling collection services will be delayed by one day for the Tuesday through Thursday routes.
Garbage and Recycling Collection - November 10 – 15, 2025:
- Monday's route will be collected as scheduled.
- Tuesday (Nov 11): No Garbage or Recycling Collection.
- Tuesday through Thursday routes will be delayed by one day all week. (Example: Tuesday’s route will be picked up Wednesday, Wednesday's route will be picked up Thursday etc.).
- Garbage and Recycling must be set out by 6:00 a.m. on collection day and may be set out the evening before collection.
- Crews will not be dispatched to return to an address where items were not out in time for the initial collection.
Holiday Week Landfill Hours of Operation:
- Monday (Nov 10): open 6:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Tuesday (Nov 11): CLOSED
- Wednesday through Saturday: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Holiday Week Hours of Operation - Household Hazardous Waste & Electronics Recycling Center:
- Monday (Nov 10): open 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
- Tuesday (Nov 11): CLOSED
- Wednesday through Thursday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
- Saturday (Nov 15): open 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
