The Bismarck Fire Department is hosting a Fire Safety Poster contest during Fire Prevention Month highlighting the theme "Not Every Hero Wears a Cape, Plan and Practice Your Escape!"
fire
This year’s campaign recognizes the everyday people who motivate their households to develop and practice a home fire escape plan; these seemingly basic behaviors can have life-saving impact.
The poster contest is open to all 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Students are invited to submit their entries by 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 25. Each grade's first place winner will be notified by October 30.
First place winners will receive a ride to their school in a fire truck.
