Staff
Lieutenant Gary Malo is the commander, and the investigator supervisors are Sergeants Jeremy Curtis and Mike Bolme. Each supervisor has a group of investigators under their direction who are generally assigned a portfolio of cases in one of two areas: personal or property crimes.
Five investigators work drug cases, and two of these are attached to the Metro Area Narcotics Task Force. Two domestic violence (DV) investigator positions had been implemented with funding coming from a
Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) grant. Although these positions are no longer funded by this grant the two investigators continue to investigate DV cases. The Investigations Section also has three officers who work in the Warrants Section, taking care of court security, serving warrants and subpoenas, conducting prisoner transports and conducting sex offender checks.
